Back by popular demand the City Hope Church will be performing Christmas Carols with a live band on Sunday the 11th December. There will also be familiar carols and readings, a short talk about the Christmas story, and some personal stories from local people. The bar will be open serving the usual array of drinks including mulled wine, and pizzas from the wood fired oven. Doors open at 6:00pm.

Christmas is fast approaching which means you need to get your skates on and book a venue for your celebrations. The Bermondsey Yard Cafe

The Bermondsey Yard Cafe is a fabulous dining concept situated at the heart of energetic and vibrant Bermondsey Street, SE1. This exciting and totally unique bar/restaurant is set in a disused car park which has been stripped back to its original industrial design features, exposing all its raw materials, contrasted against reclaimed furniture and cool lighting, creating a flexible space for work and play.

VENUE

This former car park has been renovated with an open plan kitchen and bar whilst an entirely new outside space has been constructed. The venue has a pop-up feel, festoon lighting and is set off the main street, with an amazing view of the Shard...a hidden oasis from London’s bustling streets.

The outside space is used for alfresco wining and dining but will also be used as an exciting event space- hosting beer festivals, (involving local micro breweries with The Lost Rivers special) outdoor cinema events, pop-up restaurants and many more.

Contact a member of our team if you'd like to enquire about booking an event.

Working together we have been able to bring all the things we know and love about food and dining to offer a unique experience in the heart of Bermondsey.

SEASONAL AND LOCAL INGREDIENTS

The food speaks for itself - honest and beautifully crafted by our team of chefs using British and sustainable ingredients to create a seasonally changing menu. The quality of produce from our suppliers plays a huge role in what we do; with cheese from Neals Yard Dairy, bread from the Flour Station and daily fish from Brighton's BNFS.

We’ve also paired up with London’s very own Gentlemen Baristas; the guru’s of coffee. They’ve kindly shared their wealth of knowledge, their delicious coffee, state of the art equipment and the general Gentleman Barista ethos.

OWN BREWED ALES

EXCITING NEW ALES

The Bermondsey Yard Cafe offers a huge selection of craft beers, multiple draft lagers and a plethora of ever changing guest ales. However...what we are most excited about is the ever expanding collection of ales from our parent company the Lost Rivers Brewing Co. Born in 2015 this fabulous brewery is already shaking up the brewing world and has already launched 3 products to date. A stout named the Silk Stream (6.2% ABV), a Pale Ale named the Walbrook (4.5% ABV) and a crackin' Lager named after the Lost River local to Bermondsey Yard called the Neckinger (4.5% ABV). For more info on the Lost Rivers Brewing Co. please visit their website.
